Welcome to St. John's!
God loves you. No exceptions.®
We are an eclectic blend of old and young, believers and seekers, life long Episcopalians and those who are "testing the waters." Our community is knit together by our love of God and our desire to share that love with each other through worship, acts of service, and spiritual formation. Here you will find a safe place to learn, experience, think, question, and grow.
Virtual and In-Person Worship
We hold in-person Eucharist with COVID precautions every Sunday at 9am in the church Sanctuary.
We also hold online worship every Sunday at 10:30am, streaming it for the public at live.stjohnscf.org (bulletin in the video description). If you missed the live stream, older services can be replayed at vids.stjohnscf.org. Most Sundays, this service is Morning Prayer.
The first Sunday of each month (starting in November), we conduct (and stream) another in-person Eucharist from the Undercroft at 10:30am in place of online Morning Prayer.
More information for both live and virtual worship, including in-person COVID precautions, can be found here.
All Saints Livestreamed/In-person 10:30 Eucharist, November 1st
In place of online Morning Prayer, we will hold a 10:30 in-person Eucharist in the Undercroft on November 1st, and livestream this service (as usual) on Jitsi and YouTube. Our virtual audience won't need to change anything to participate in this service.
November 1st is also All Saints Sunday, which we celebrate by reading the names of loved ones who have departed.
Congratulations to Reverend Sally!
Our interim Priest, Rev. Sally Goodall, was ordained one year ago this week. Our community is grateful for her leading us through this in-between time as we seek a new rector.

Easy Fundraisers for St. John's
There are a couple of easy ways to raise money for the church:
If you shop at Acme, save your receipts dated from Aug 6 to Dec 26 and mail them to the church. Acme's Community Cashback program will donate to the church based on the receipts we turn in.
If you shop Amazon, try smile.amazon.com. You can choose a charity (like "St. John's Cuyahoga Falls"), and Amazon will donate a portion of each purchase to that charity.
Activities are cancelled. Please read this letter from Rev. Sally, and this letter from Bishop Hollingsworth. As news and reflections are sent over email, I will do my best to collect them here. Rev. Sally is available for pastoral calls (her contact info is here).
I'm assuming NA meetings are also cancelled, but I don't know. Contact NA for information.
If you feel like you need the help of a professional counselor, use this site to find someone who is available for online sessions. Getting through the day in these turbulent times can be hard.
If you are able, reach out to neighbors that you know cannot travel freely during this outbreak. You can show God's love and care through a grocery or prescription run.
All events are cancelled until further notice.
